Home | More badly translated games | Zero Wing "End of Game"

Zero Wing was a so-so video game released for the Sega Genesis (ported from a 1989 coin-op), and is remembered for the famously butchered Japanese-to-English translation of the opening sequence.

"All your base are belong to us," resurfaces on the net every few years as media types try to figure out why some people think this is so funny.  There's really no deep meaning or purpose to it.  It's just funny!

In addition to Zero Wing, there have been a number of awful Japanese to English video game translations.  Proof things don't have to make sense to be funny.
